How to Use the Blade Ball Value Calculator

Search for an item on either side, set the quantity if you hold more than one, and read the totals. There is no variant dropdown and no condition toggle, because Blade Ball items have one value each: a sword is that sword, and nothing about how you obtained it changes what somebody will give you. That makes this a simple tool with one hard part, which is finding the right entry among 1,492 of them.

Use the type filter for that rather than the rarity one. Swords number 745, Emotes 408 and Explosions 339, and you almost always know which of those you are looking for. Rarity is the worse filter here for reasons the Blade Ball value list goes into: it does not sort by price in any useful way. If you want a verdict rather than two totals, the Blade Ball trade checker compares both sides at once.

What the Blade Ball Calculator Compares

An index, and it is worth knowing exactly what kind. The figures here run from 1 to roughly 1000 and are consistent against each other, so a total of 1,400 against a total of 1,180 tells you the truth about the trade. They are not raw RAP and they are not on the same scale as sites quoting a top item in the thousands, so a number lifted from here into a conversation about another list will look wrong to everyone involved.

What that means in practice: use this to compare two piles, not to quote a price. If you want a figure to say out loud in a Trade Plaza negotiation, take the RAP shown against the item in the INDEX, which is the number the person opposite is most likely reading too. Use the totals here to decide whether to accept, and their RAP to discuss it.

What the Blade Ball Calculator Cannot Tell You

Whether anybody wants the thing. This game has a massive catalog of Limited, Unique and Secret items, thousands of them, and their trade values vary from day to day, so two items sitting at the same figure today can drift apart within a week. Prices are unstable by design: they increase, decrease and change tiers, and a calculator reads the snapshot rather than the direction.

It also cannot price enthusiasm, which in Blade Ball does more work than in most games. Even though a sword may have a specific value, it entirely depends on the owner how much they want for it and how much you are willing to pay or trade. Somebody hunting one particular Explosion will pay well over the list for it and refuse a more valuable Sword without blinking, and no total will warn you that you are the one holding what they want.

Why Blade Ball Value Lists Disagree

Scale first, and it explains most of the alarming gaps. Some lists index to 1000, others publish figures in the thousands, and neither is wrong. Check what the top item on a list is worth before deciding a number is off by a factor of three, because that is usually the whole explanation.

After that it is freshness, which matters more here than anywhere else on this site. There is no official value list to anchor against, so every source is a community estimate updated on its own schedule, and items can change tiers between updates. Some guides give up on fixed values for the Limited, Unique and Secret catalog entirely and send you to checking recent average prices in game instead, which is a reasonable answer rather than a cop-out. Open the Trade Plaza, go into its INDEX, browse the selection or search a name, and the RAP against each item is an estimate of what an item is worth right now rather than last week. The Find Seller button next to it will tell you whether anyone is actually asking that.

Blade Ball Calculator FAQ

What unit does this calculator use?

An index running from 1 to about 1000, labelled RAP because that is the word Blade Ball traders use. It is consistent within this list and does not convert to figures from sites that quote in the thousands.

Why is there no rarity or variant option?

Because Blade Ball items have a single value each, with no variants or conditions to set. Rarity exists but does not track price, so it is a filter for finding items rather than a factor in valuing them.

How accurate are the values?

They are community estimates and this game's prices are unstable by nature. Accurate enough to tell a good trade from a bad one, not precise enough to argue over a few points. Cross-check anything expensive against the RAP in the Trade Plaza INDEX.

Does it account for demand?

No. It totals values only. In a game where desirability drives price more than rarity does, that is a real limitation and the reason to check with a seller before committing to anything large.

Is it free and does it need an account?

Free, no account, nothing stored. It runs in the page and works on a phone.

Can I share a calculation?

Yes. The link in your address bar updates as you build, so copying it hands the other player both sides exactly as you set them up.
