How to Use the Pet Simulator 99 Calculator
Set the variant before you read the total. That is the whole instruction, because variant blindness is the most expensive mistake in this game and the easiest one to make: the same pet in Normal and in Shiny is a difference of ten times or more, and the trade window shows them with the same name. Search for a pet on either side, set the quantity, then confirm Normal, Golden, Rainbow or Shiny on every row.
Everything totals in Diamonds, so the two halves of a deal end up in one unit you can subtract. The type filter narrows 2,861 pets down quickly, which matters here more than anywhere else on this site, and the exist count travels with each pet so you can see how scarce the thing you are pricing actually is. If you want a verdict rather than a total, the Pet Simulator 99 trade checker compares both sides at once.
Golden, Rainbow and Shiny in the Calculator
Every other calculator you will find applies a fixed multiplier: Golden roughly 4x base, Rainbow roughly 8x, Shiny 10x or more. Test that against two real pets. Huge Chroma Phoenix has a Rainbow at about 7.8 times its Normal price. Titanic Piggy Piggy has a Rainbow at about 3.5 times. A fixed 8x overprices the second by more than double, and if you are the one receiving it you will not notice.
This calculator uses the game's own recorded price for each variant combination instead, on 2,604 of the 2,861 pets. Change the dropdown and the figure that appears is a real transaction record, not a sum. The 257 pets with no recorded variant fall back to multipliers taken as medians of actual ratios, Golden 1.8, Rainbow 6, Shiny 8.2, Shiny Golden 46.6 and Shiny Rainbow 135.4, which are deliberately not round numbers because the real ones are not round either. Golden comes from fusing 3 Normal pets and Rainbow from fusing 3 Golden pets, so the cost of making one is fixed while the value of having one is not.
What the Pet Simulator 99 Calculator Cannot Tell You
It prices, it does not predict. RAP is built from average prices from actual player transactions and it lags behind fast-moving markets, so the Diamond value players will actually pay often differs from RAP, especially on a pet that just appeared. This is a miniature real economy with real-time value fluctuations driven by videos and Discord rumours as much as by anything in the game, and the information gaps that opens are exactly what informed traders exploit. The first 48 hours of a release run on inflated prices, and the number will follow the market down two weeks later rather than warning you first.
It also has no view of liquidity, and in a game with this much supply that matters. A pet with high demand velocity is worth more to you than a pet with identical RAP and low demand velocity, because one of them you can move this evening and the other you will still own next month. A small overpay of 5 to 10% above RAP on a fast-selling pet often beats five slow-selling pets at equal value, which is the opposite of what the totals will tell you. Read the exist count on the Pet Simulator 99 value list alongside the number here.
Why Pet Simulator 99 Values Differ Between Sites
Timing first. RAP updates as trades happen, so two sites pulling on different schedules will disagree by a few percent on almost everything, and that is normal rather than a fault. The disagreements worth investigating are the large ones, and the usual cause is a stale snapshot rather than a different opinion, because nobody is forming an opinion here in the first place.
The second cause is variants, and it is the one that produces the wild gaps. A site quoting a Rainbow from a multiplier and a site quoting a recorded Rainbow price will disagree by a factor of two on plenty of pets without either of them being obviously wrong. Always cross-check: if one site says 100M and two others say 70M, something is off, and the odd one out is usually either stale or multiplying. Checking the same pet in the same variant across three sources takes a minute and settles it.
Pet Simulator 99 Calculator FAQ
What unit does this calculator use?
Diamonds, the game's own trading currency, and the figures are RAP taken from actual transactions rather than community estimates.
Does it handle Golden, Rainbow and Shiny?
Yes, and for most pets it uses the game's recorded price for that exact variant rather than multiplying the Normal value. That matters because the real ratio varies enormously from pet to pet.
Why is your Rainbow multiplier lower than other sites?
Because the fallback multipliers here are medians of real recorded ratios rather than rounded rules of thumb, and the variant multiplier only applies to the minority of pets with no recorded variant price at all. Normal is 1x base and the lowest value of any version; Rainbow is often quoted as roughly 8x base elsewhere, and on plenty of pets it simply is not. For everything with a record, no multiplier is used.
Does it account for demand?
No. It prices what a pet has traded for. Whether it will trade quickly is a separate question, and the exist count on the value list is the closest thing to an answer.
Is it free and does it need an account?
Free, no account, nothing stored. It runs in the page and works on a phone.
Can I share a calculation?
Yes. The link in your address bar updates as you build, so copying it hands the other player exactly what you set up, variants included.
