How to Use the Creatures of Sonaria Calculator

Search for an item on either side, set the quantity if you hold more than one, and read the totals in Mush. There is no variant dropdown, so what you are pricing is the base entry rather than a Glimmer or any other version of it.

Use the category filter while you build, because it keeps you from comparing across markets by accident. Creatures, Materials, Palettes, Plushies and Tokens all sit on the same scale and behave nothing alike. If you want a verdict rather than two totals, the Creatures of Sonaria trade checker compares both sides, and the Creatures of Sonaria value list shows where an item sits in its own category.

Why the Category Matters More Than the Count

Because the five categories have completely different typical values. Creatures median 15,000 Mush, Materials 5,000, Plushies 2,250, Tokens 1,000 and Palettes 300. Six palettes and one creature are not a comparable pair, and a trade window full of the cheaper categories can total less than a single mid-tier creature.

The complication is that every category also reaches a ceiling around 400,000, so the rule cuts both ways. Palettes run from a median of 300 to a maximum of 400,000, which is over a thousand to one inside one category. Never assume a palette is filler and never assume a creature is valuable. Price the specific entries and let the totals decide.

What the Calculator Does Not Include

Glimmer variants, first. They add 15 to 30% value based on palette rarity and are not listed separately, so if a Glimmer is in the trade you should price the base entry here and then add somewhere inside that band by hand.

Untradeable items are the other gap worth knowing about. Some things carry a published Mush value and cannot change hands at all, Somnia Elus at 500,000 being the one people quote most. A value existing does not mean a trade is possible, so confirm an item is actually tradeable before building a side around it.

Why Sonaria Value Lists Disagree

Scale, and it is the largest single cause. Some lists quote top materials at 800K to 1.20M Mush where this one puts the same items at 400,000. The ordering matches across both, including which items tie, so the disagreement is about the unit rather than the market. A number lifted from one list into a conversation about another will look wrong to everyone.

Speed is the second cause. The economy can shift within days of new event drops or balance patches, faster than most lists refresh, so two sources sampled a week apart genuinely differ on anything an event touched. On a large trade, cross-check against current trade realm offers rather than trusting any list including this one.

Creatures of Sonaria Calculator FAQ

What unit does this calculator use?

Mush, using community estimates compiled from public trading. They are reference points for comparing two sides rather than prices the game sets.

Can I price a Glimmer variant?

Not directly. Glimmers add 15 to 30% depending on palette rarity, so price the base entry here and adjust upward inside that range yourself.

Why is my total lower than on another site?

Because Sonaria lists run on different scales. Ours tops out around 450,000 where some quote over a million for the same items, while the ordering is identical. Stay within one list when comparing.

Does every item on the list actually trade?

No. Some carry a published value and are untradeable, Somnia Elus at 500,000 Mush being the usual example. Check tradeability before planning around an item.

Is it free and does it need an account?

Free, no account, nothing stored. It runs in the page and works on a phone.

Can I share a calculation?

Yes. The link in your address bar updates as you build, so copying it hands the other player both sides exactly as you set them up.
