Read the gap rather than the letter. Values here run from a few thousand to 860,000, so the distance between two sides matters far more than which side of the line it falls on. A gap of five thousand on a Gold trade is noise; the same gap on two plain towers is the whole deal.

How to Check if a Garden Tower Defense Trade Is Fair

Read the prefix on every tower before you total anything. Gold, Silver and Bronze are separate entries and the differences are enormous: Gold towers median around 90,000 on this list, Silver around 47,500, Bronze around 20,750 and towers with no prefix about 4,000. Never Value a Tower by How Good It Is

Trade Before the Event Ends, Not After

The single most reliable price trigger in this game is a unit leaving the shop or its event. Supply closing is what moves a GTD price, so the window where a tower is still obtainable is the window where it is cheap, and the moment its source shuts is the moment everyone else notices too.

Practically that means two things. If you want something, get it while it is still available rather than after. And if somebody is unusually keen to take an event tower off you right now, check whether that event is about to end, because they may be reading a calendar you are not.
